Last week, See the Signs provided essential training to over 100 social workers, youth workers, school counselors, and early childhood educators in Napier on Child Safeguarding and Child Sexual Exploitation & Trafficking in New Zealand.
We had the privilege of working alongside Dove Hawkes Bay Inc., Birthright Hawkes Bay Child and Family Trust, and Whānau Āwhina Plunket, delivering crucial knowledge to professionals dedicated to protecting vulnerable children and young people.
Feedback from an attendees:
“All of the information was important and relevant to my role. The presenter was easy to connect with and demonstrated extensive knowledge and passion for the content.”
— Client K, BirthrightHB
“Common trends within the tamariki & whānau I work with is that the whānau are unable to have these types of conversations with their tamariki.” – Client K, BirthrightHB
“Important, informative and relevant. Tina is knowledgeable and passionate. Recommend this presentation to anyone who works with children and/or vulnerable people.” – Client T, Dove Hawkes Bay
‘Thoroughly enjoyed the workshop hosted by Tina. The workshop was very informative on the issues our tāmariki & whānau are facing. Shedding light on topics that do not get discussed enough amongst our community/nation. Also, was an eye-opening experience in regards to the different experiences REAL people have had. The workshop covered different elements on how we can safeguard the future generation & how we can better protect ourselves & others. The benefit of hosting an in-person training was it allowed room for us to ask plenty of questions & have genuine conversations with our host. Thank you for an amazing day of training.’ – Client A, Dove Hawkes Bay
See the Signs will be returning to Napier in April 2025 for additional presentations. If your organization is interested in booking a session, please get in touch.
